Here at Retro Resus we endeavour to build all of our engines to the highest standards, using time honoured companies to carry out all of our machining work to the tightest of tolerances, balancing engine internals in house and assembling with plenty of TLC.
We can carry out anything from a standard engine rebuild, a simple refresh or a massively upgraded race/road rebuild. Big or small we rebuild them all!

Transmission Upgrades

Turbo Conversions
As for us tuning engines is concerned, turbo charging is the most efficient way of increasing power whilst retaining drive-ability and still being able to return sensible mpg when driving correctly.
As with everything in life, every upgrade to a turbo system also has side effects. The bigger the turbo, the greater power potential, but also with this comes excess heat, lag and reduced fuel efficiency.
Here at Retro Resus we can custom build you an upgraded turbo system , using hand fabricated exhaust manifolds, exhaust systems, market leading intercoolers and top quality components to build the fuel system, intake system and boost control.
If required we can also custom map OEM ecu's or supply, fit and map stand alone management systems.

Diagnostics

Here at Retro Resus we carry out all of our diagnostics in house. Using a range of equipment which includes good old fashioned compression testers, cylinder leakage testers, fuel pressure testers, emissions testing equipment and vacuum testers. Along with bang up to date computer diagnostics from the likes of Snap-on, Autologic and VAG-COM.
We also employ some good old fashioned techniques to be able to get to the root cause of most minor and major issues.

Servicing
No matter what car you drive, new or old, fast or slow, good maintenance is the only way to keep it in tip top condition and increase your vehicles longevity.
Did you know that poor or no maintenance can lead to a loss of power, higher fuel consumption, increased tyre wear and ultimately failure?
We can supply genuine manufacturer parts if preferred. We can also supply upgraded service and repair parts to upgrade your car over stock. These range from simple items like air filters and spark plugs, to performance exhaust systems, uprated fuel pumps and the software to suit.
With all of our technicians having served in a variety of main dealers we have a wide knowledge base to support all types of service work on your vehicle.

Rollcage Fabrication
Since the day we opened we have been dedicated to producing roll cages and roll over protection systems to the highest standards.
All of our roll cages are hand fabricated in house, using the best equipment from the likes of Bayleigh industrial, Fein and Milwaukee.
We build all of our roll cages to suit the series you are looking to compete in, using ROPT, CDS or T45 tubing. We can build you anything from a basic 6 point weld in cage to a full 12 point gusseted monster!

Custom Fabrication
